I have painted this woman a few times in different styles and colours. This version stands out with its beautiful expensive and almost royal colours - blues, purples, yellow, gold!
I love the pose of the woman and the energy she radiates. She is comfortable, she is beautiful, she is living her best life. It is a very exposed and untypical pose - she’s not hiding anything and she’s holding herself up high, presenting herself with pride and grace. This painting makes me feel pretty, strong, empowered, comfortable in my skin and all of the above!
