What does this painting mean to me?
My first ever self-portrait! Painting this was such an experience for me - to see myself from an outside perspective. I must say, I found it quite difficult to paint this without subconsciously wanting to “fix” my insecurities in my face. However, this is what my art is all about - there is nothing about you that should make you feel insecure. You are what you are and you are beautiful! Why strive to look like everyone else when you have a perfectly unique and immaculate face!
